Be The Spec; Be 2Sure

As the marketing lead for personal care at SevenUp Bottling Company, I led the "Be The Spec" digital campaign to launch the new 2Sure antibacterial soap variants in Nigeria.

The campaign aimed to increase awareness and penetration of the new soap variants in Nigeria using digital platforms and featured Ebuka Obi Uchendu as the brand ambassador. Our successful execution of this project demonstrated our ability to deliver measurable results and promote product innovation in Nigeria.

No Be Wash

As the Product Marketing Lead for personal care at SevenUp Bottling Company Nigeria, I led the digital launch campaign for 2Sure dishwashing liquid. Our goal was to increase sales and revenue, compete with established brands, and expand our market share. To achieve this, we created a comprehensive marketing strategy that included digital advertising, social media marketing, and influencer marketing. By targeting Nigerian households and partnering with social media influencers, we established 2Sure as a challenger brand, increased its market share, and met the specific needs of the Nigerian market.

2Sure Personal Care Portfolio

SevenUp Bottling Company, a revered name in the Nigerian beverage industry, embarked on an ambitious project to diversify its product line. The company, which had been known for producing soft drinks, decided to delve into the Personal and Home Care market by introducing an array of products, including laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, and hand sanitiser, among others.

Charity Ilevbare-Adeniji spearheaded the project, which was meticulously planned and executed. She worked tirelessly to ensure that the new products were of high quality and met the specific needs and preferences of the target audience. The products were formulated using safe and eco-friendly ingredients, emphasizing the company's commitment to sustainability.

The launch of the new product line was a resounding success, with the products gaining popularity among customers across the country. The favorable reception of the new product line significantly boosted the company's growth and success. Today, SevenUp Bottling Company is not only a leading producer of soft drinks but also a trusted provider of Personal and Home Care products.

Premier Cool Deo Relaunch and extension

The primary objective was to position Premier Cool Deo soap as the top antibacterial cooling brand in Nigeria, which was accomplished through a comprehensive relaunch of the product and the introduction of new variants.

The relaunch involved a multi-faceted approach, including a revamped packaging design, an intensive marketing campaign, and an improved product formula. The new variants were designed to cater to different customer preferences and included unique fragrances and formulations.

The outcome of the relaunch was highly successful, with Premier Cool Deo soap emerging as the leading antibacterial cooling brand in Nigeria. The relaunch also earned the product the prestigious Best Product Relaunch award in 2020 by Marketing Edge, which recognized the product's innovative approach to product development and marketing.

NUNU Milk Relaunch

In 2015, Nunu Milk underwent a relaunch with a renewed emphasis on providing an exceptional dairy experience for children. I collaborated with a team of experts who worked tirelessly to perfect the taste and texture of our milk, resulting in a delicious and visually appealing product. During the brand repositioning,

I focused on emphasizing the protein health benefits of children with the messaging "Grow Everyday". We also introduced a larger pack size and reworked the brand logo to give it a national appeal, moving it from being a regional brand to a national one.

FanDango luanch in PET

FanMilk received feedback from customers in 2012 that sales of their popular drink, FanDango, were declining due to the Tetrapack packaging lacking a closable lid. FanMilk introduced FanDango in PET bottles, which not only retained the same taste but also provided a sustainable and convenient way for consumers to enjoy the drink. The PET bottle packaging is environmentally friendly, easily recyclable, and keeps the drink fresh for longer. The introduction of FanDango in PET bottles significantly boosted sales, making it a game-changer for FanMilk and its customers.
